Gaining a holistic understanding of the construction industry was paramount to my professional development. From a young age, I immersed myself in the architectural department at CALO, my family's construction company with architecture advisory services. Throughout my university years, I actively participated in projects, acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the entire construction process – from design conception to project completion. This experience equipped me with invaluable knowledge of budgeting, risk management, and the intricacies involved in bringing architectural visions to life.
In 2010, I embarked on a professional journey abroad, seeking new experiences and perspectives. Upon returning to CALO in 2015, I brought back a wealth of new skills. Leveraging my international experience and expertise, I contributed to strengthening the architectural project division.
About Me
I was born in Mexicali, Mexico, and my journey has taken me across different countries and cultures.
I’ve had the privilege of living in Chile for 12 years (2010 - 2022) and in Spain (since 2022) for 2 years. My interest in migration began during my first year in university, having a summer abroad in Vancouver, and followed by my student exchange program, where I spent 1 year in Chile (2005 - 2006). There, I had the opportunity to work and grow professionally and personally.
Living in different countries has enriched my perspective and allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. I cherish the experiences and connections I’ve made along the way, which have shaped me into a compassionate and adaptable person.
I have a strong passion for learning and exploring new places. This curiosity has driven me to embrace every opportunity to travel and immerse myself in different environments, always seeking to understand and appreciate the uniqueness of each.
As a person, I value empathy, resilience, and open-mindedness.
